Alan mastered the craft of designing and producing stained glass art at the Glasgow School of Art and is co-founder of ‘Slow Dazzle’, an art collective making contemporary stained glass. Alan and Slow Dazzle partner, Ryan King, are based in the Cara Glass studio. His debut song, Yankee Swastika, combined the powerful lyrics of a speech by Jello Biafra with a clever beat and won credits on both Radio 1 and NME. An accomplished songwriter and music producer, Alan has performed with a number of bands in the Glasgow music scene. Alan studied sound engineering and is a sought-after studio technician.
